Como una institución que cree en el fundamento eclesiástico, AMG opera bajo la supervisión de la iglesia local, de un comité directivo-académico y de otras iglesias afines. Por otra parte, la facultad de la academia se compone fundamentalmente de los instructores que no sólo tienen conocimiento de la Biblia y la capacidad de enseñanza, sino que además son pastores cualificados que están involucrados en el ministerio pastoral. Por último, AMG requiere que uno de los pastores del estudiante pueda servir como supervisor general de su formación y como su consejero y mentor.
AMG existe fundamentalmente con el fin de preparar hombres en el aspecto académico y devocional, para el ministerio evangélico. Por lo tanto, capacitar a hombres que aspiran al pastorado, así como ofrecer formación continua para hombres que ya están en el ministerio pastoral, será el enfoque principal de la academia. Como una extensión del ministerio de enseñanza de la iglesia local, en segundo lugar, la academia existe para proporcionar instrucciones adicionales para los laicos que desean mejorar su comprensión de la Escritura.
